Common questions
Before you ask
Cost depends on size, specification, site access and how much structural work is involved, so any figure quoted before a site visit is guesswork. After an initial consultation we give you an itemised written quotation with the assumptions it is based on, so you can compare it fairly against others.
A single-storey extension usually runs to a few months on site, a loft conversion less, and a full renovation considerably longer. Planning and building control approvals sit before that. You get a dated programme with your quote and a weekly update against it once work starts.
Yes. The initial consultation, site assessment and written quotation are free and carry no obligation.
We can manage the process with you, including drawings, building control applications and party wall matters where they apply, and work alongside your architect if you already have one.
We work across London and surrounding areas, with most of our projects in North and Central London. If your postcode sits just outside that, it is still worth asking.
We work on homes and business premises: home renovation, new roofing, extensions, loft conversions, kitchens, interior design, flooring, bathrooms and garden homes and offices. We also provide network and CCTV installation, electrical services, plumbing, painting and decoration, and external wall insulation (EWI) and render.
Every build gets a written programme and one project coordinator who owns it. Trades and materials are booked in advance, and if something slips — weather, approvals, a supplier — you hear about it that week along with the revised date.
